You can not erase communists from the history, now and future!
The Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU organized the “International Conference on the European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Communism and Nazism” on Wednesday (August 23rd) as part of the event organized by Estonia in Tallinn. The purpose of this conference is an attempt to rewrite the history for the good of capitalism and erase the historic anti-fascist struggle from the people’s memory, the reality which was led by the communists and ended the Nazi regime.
On 2 April 2009, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on European conscience and totalitarianism, calling for the proclamation of 23 August as the “Europe-wide Day of Remembrance for the victims of all totalitarian and authoritarian regimes.” This is nothing but helping fascism to acquit its crimes by equating communism with Nazism.
It is EU that supports Right Sector fascists in Ukraine. It is a known fact that EU is also cooperating with fascists in the other European countries. Besides, the 20th Estonian division of the Waffen SS is proclaimed as “heroes” in Estonia while the symbols of communism and Communist Party is prohibited by Estonian state.
The hostility to communism is not unique to the Estonian state or the EU. All the capitalists around the world are resorting to lies and misappropriation in order to maintain the order of exploitation and to throw mud at the communists. President Tayyip Erdoğan also repeated what he has learned from his imperialist masters the other day and said that communists are not patriots because they stand against the looting of natural resources of the country.
You can not equate communists with fascists.
You can not question the patriotism of communists.
You can not erase the role that communists played in the defeat of fascism from the pages of history!
