Iran has also been added to the ring of military operations that imperialism has been carrying out in the region continuously. With the wave of aggression launched by Israel and the US, which have been the source of wars in our region for decades, the instability in the region has reached a new level. The US and Israel have attempted to show their power by attacking many points, including nuclear facilities, by ignoring all international agreements and provisions. The fact that these two countries, who consider themselves entitled to open military intervention in all countries in our region, have now put aside their search for legitimacy and organize military operations has become a common threat not only for our region but for all of humanity!

Today, imperialism and Zionism have brought humanity to the brink of a new destruction. This attack, carried out by the US, which sees itself as having the monopoly of using nuclear weapons, and Israel, which resorted to genocide in Gaza, by claiming that Iran may develop nuclear weapons, is also the beginning of a new wave of war. It is known that Israel and the US, who are calling for regime change in Iran, are basing their own imperialist interests on the regime rather than the regime itself. Imperialism, which used to tell tales of freedom in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria, wants only the freedom to attack today!

Freedom to attack is the imperialism’s abandonment of even its own rules and its view of ethnic and religious myths as the basis for attack. The statement of the US, which has turned the 21st century into a century of blood, attack and exploitation, and Israel, its number one military power in the region, has no legitimacy or validity.

Not only for our region, but for all countries, the US, its armed organization NATO and its military power Israel are the number one threat! It is not possible to turn a deaf ear to this threat and turn a blind eye to other targets. It has come to a point where no national or religious interest can be replaced by the search for independence and class struggle. All understandings that do not oppose NATO, the US and Israel or ignore their attacks mean being part of the ethnic and religious slaughter, and therefore being the buttress of the US-NATO-Israel, the “evil front” of the 21st century.

This attack has revealed once again that those who govern our country do not stand against the imperialist US and Zionist Israel, who are committing crimes against humanity, but stand by them. It is not possible for a government that does not see the NATO bases, Kürecik and the nuclear weapons in Incirlik to condemn the attack, and the statements it makes are a diplomatic way of saying “we serve imperialism better”. While the trade that the government, which “does not leave anything unsaid” against Israel in front of the cameras, carries out behind the scenes is known, its call for “neutrality” in the face of the Israeli and US attack on Iran is also evidence of the same “behind the scenes” bargaining.

Today, the US and NATO bases that cover the Middle East like a spider web and Israel’s military aggression are not facts that the AKP opposes. On the contrary, the AKP and the capital state are calculating “how we can get a share from this war” with all their instruments. The meaning of this is simple: The children of the working people of Türkiye are being made a part of this aggression, their blood is being sold “for a handful of dollars”.

Türkiye cannot play the role it played in Syria, Iraq and Libya once again. The US and Israel have made a clear decision and put the law of the jungle into effect. If Türkiye deems itself entitled to play the role of the “logistics base” of imperialism and Zionism, this war will burn itself too!

The only way to stop imperialism and Zionism is through the organized struggle of the working people. While the government and the opposition are playing the game of “who is more pro-NATO”, the progressives, patriots, revolutionaries and communists of this country are calling on the workers to create a strong anti-imperialist will. There is no power that can stop imperialism and Zionism other than the unity of the workers!

The Communist Movement of Türkiye insists that this struggle should be continued with the unity and common front of the workers of the Turkish-Kurdish-Arab-Persian peoples. Just as our party calls on all workers, progressives and patriots, it also makes the same call to all anti-imperialist forces in the region.

The joint call made by the communists under pressure in Iran and Israel has shown how important and vital the unity of the workers is against this aggression. We would like to remind you that the same voice is rising from Türkiye and that our attitude towards the aggressive USA and Israel is similar.

Our party, the Communist Movement of Türkiye, once again declares its stance against this aggression on the side of the workers of Iran and calls on the working people of Türkiye to fight for the following:

1-All NATO presence in Türkiye must be ended, Turkey must leave NATO.

2-All bases including Kürecik and Incirlik must be seized.

3-All nuclear weapons in the region including Incirlik must be destroyed.

4-Turkey must suspend all commercial, military and scientific activities including third parties with Israel until Israel’s aggression ends.

We would like to remind you once again that neither independence nor peace will come to the region unless imperialism and Zionism are defeated. There is no other way, the only way is the struggle against imperialism and Zionism!
