Israel’s launching of a ground operation in Lebanon is a grave violation of international law and an attempt to occupy Lebanese territory. The occupation of Lebanese territory by Israel, which is the proxy and rogue state of imperialism and main perpetrator of the war and destruction in the Middle East, is a new stage. We stand by the Palestinian and Lebanese people. We know very well that the ground for this reckless policy and the audacity of Israel is laid by the Great Middle East Project itself. What the co-chairs of the Great Middle East Project are shedding today is nothing but crocodile tears. Erdoğan and Davutoğlu will go down in history as ‘objective partners’ of the destruction, war and occupation in Gaza and Lebanon.
